Welcome to Fulton Amateur Swim Team

The Fulton Amateur Swim Team (FAST) is an extremely successful swim club based at Patumahoe Primary School in the Franklin district of South Auckland. We are a non-profit club for 8-18 year olds offering highly certified professional coaching, training and competition to children of all abilities.

As an advocate of efficient swimming, by building our training programmes on a solid foundation of proper stroke mechanics we believe that this is the key to the pathway of championship legacy.

FAST's results are impressive on the National stage.  In 2017, FAST sent 18 swimmers to the NZ Junior Festival, placing 12th in the country, collecting 1 gold and 3 silver medals alongside multiple top ten placings.  At NZ Division II, FAST was represented by 7 swimmers collecting 3 silver and one bronze medal to place 46th in New Zealand.  At the NZ Age Group Championships, FAST was represented by a record 5 swimmers where the team achieved several top 10 placings. The expectation is for even better results in the upcoming season.

Our club's mission is simple - by paying close attention to the details of the science of efficient swimming, we channel our energies toward character building, moulding team members with our core values revolving around the spirit of 'sportsmanship'.   Through being disciplined in our training programmes, our FAST team members are developing essential tools that can be utilised throughout their lives away from swimming.
