AIMS - Outstanding Results

Our swimmers were outstanding at the AIMS Games Swimming Champs.

The FAST crew were: Shontelle, Molly, Libby, Charlotte, Emma, Krystal, Nathan, Blake, Alexander and Matthew.

A few statistics:

FAST had 10 swimmers at the Champs - The most from any Club in South Auckland
FAST had 5 swimmers make finals - The most from any Club in South Auckland
FAST swimmers made 17 finals - The most from any Club in South Auckland
.
The children were amazing. Monday was exhausting, but right to the end they were pb'ing.
Thank you Ria for all your coaching, you prepared the swimmers so well and all the hard work paid off. The depth in swimmers at the club is just getting bigger and bigger.

On to individual success:

Our Finalists were:
.
Nathan - 6 Finals. 5th 200 free, 7th 100IM and 100 fly, 8th 50 back and 50 free, 9th 100 free
Matthew - 5 Finals. 6th 100 fly, 7th 200 back, 9th 50 fly, 10th 50 back and 100 back
Libby - 3 Finals. 5th 100 breast, 8th 100 IM, 9th 100 Fly
Emma - 2 Finals. 6th 50 Breast and qualified for 100 breast.
Blake - 1 Final. 10th 50 back.

Well done to Libby who got 100% pbs, closely followed by Matthew. Most of the swimmers got at least 50% pbs.

NZ Juniors

Congratulations to the following:

Emma got her first NZ Juniors swim in the 50 breast.
Libby qualified in the 50 breast.
Matthew added three swims to NZJ - 50 back, 200 back and 100 fly

NZ Division II

Well done to Blake for getting his first swim at NZ Div II in the 200 back.

Auckland Juniors

Auckland Age Group Champs
