Manurewa Winter Carnival

Well done to everyone who swam at Manurewa yesterday. It was fantastic to see all our swimmers performing so well and smashing their pbs. Also great to see our new swimmers in the water (Jessica, Calee, Jenna, Charlotte, Charlise and Keegan), they were fantastic and I hope they enjoyed their first experience of a full swim meet. I hope all the parents enjoyed it too.

We have some new swimmers who are now Auckland Level 2 swimmers: congratulations to Arun, Ryan and Keegan.
Also congratulations to Alexander who has qualified as an Auckland Level 1 swimmer.
The new swimming season has now started and we will be working towards the major events of the year. Attached is the latest eligibility report which includes the Auckland Junior Champs and Auckland Age Group Champs. Please take some time to look at it, many of our swimmers are already qualified or really close to qualifying which is fantastic so early in the season.
Below are our qualifiers for each of the upcoming events:
AIMS - Mikaela, Molly, Libby, Alissa, Leon, Ethan and Matthew. The following are within 5% of qualifying : Ernestine, Zoe and Aria.
NZ Secondary Schools Champs - Shontelle, Emma, Erin, Blake, Nathan and Alexander
NZ Short Course Champs - Nathan. The following are within 5% of qualifying: Erin, Blake and Alexander
Auckland Junior Champs - Mikaela, Libby, Leon and Ethan. The following are within 5% of qualifying: Jessica, Charlise, Sienna, Calee, Lily, Ernestine, Zoe and Alissa
Auckland Age Group Champs - Emma, Molly, Shontelle, Erin, Blake, Nathan, Alexander and Matthew. The following are within 5% of qualifying: Zoe and Keegan.
